while im away, I'd managed to settle a few more things for my wedding.

h2b's wedding ring is ready to be collected 2weeks ago,

so there we go, to collect his ring and engrave name on it. too bad, my name was wrongly engraved to his, but we are still lucky, because of that we managed to slip my ring for waxing and polish for free.

mula-mula hangin jugakla, sapa tak mara,kena datang balik, sebab the ring have to be sent to factory back. so kena tunggu another one week. theres no rush pun for that, but malas nak pergi dua tiga kali for the same thing. thats why aku terkenal dengan perangai dah berkenan sambar. sebab malas nak peningkan kepala pikir dua tiga kali for the same thing.

As for my ring, ada dotted in yellow color all over the ring. dah tak macam white gold aku tengok.huhu..Even the SA tried basuh a few times pun masih tak hilang, its like it is permanently there. the early plan is us go back to habib, and get them to fix it. ... but lucky they engrave my name salah pada mulanya at his ring, sekarang i denda diorang to fix my ring as well. yang actually tiada kena-mengena dengan diorang pun. hehehe.

so last nite, we went to collect for the fixed items.

we arrived there around 940pm, and SA was willing to wait for us. and everything pun ok. cuma, i need to really2 confirm the wedding ring is mine, thru the certificate no. macam susah gila2 nak tenung solitaire to see over the certificate no. but its a quite good experience, and we're done around 10.40... kecian goldheart lambat tutup kedai because two of us..

overall, kami puas hati dengan Goldheart Mines services. oh ya, we did asked about palladium ring to the SA, they have stopped producing it due to so many complain from customer. most of them sent back the item to Goldheart to wax. sebab very easy untuk calar. btw, the choice is always yours ;)

a little bit of our progress,

we purposely went to Mines, semata-mata nak tempah cincin for him. Akulah, always in rush on everything. oh, actually no. i prefer to settle everything earlier. so at the end of the day, aku boleh senyum lebar sambil ulit bantal peluk...

i told MF to look for any design he likes. but this guy, still stick to the one yang dia tengok dulu-dulu. memang kelakarkan. taste tak berubah. love at the first sight katanye...so layankan sahaja...last post on his wedding band

for him, just a normal wedding band with solitaire diamond will do, and fine for us. he insisted on solitaire, coz he bought one for me as well. last time when we bought wedding ring for me, ada nyonya cincin tu cakap, solitaire is actually very special. u only give to someone special in ur life&heart..lebih kurang macam solitaire=one=u r the only one. camtu lah lebih kurang.

sekadar hiasan.

so because of that, dia juga nak solitaire!!? i find he is cute guy, and sentiasa memberi perhatian pada benda-benda macam ni, but sometimes tak. hohoho.

we bought Platim from GoldHeart: a mixture of platinum and sterling silver.

i paid 50% of the ring price, and its ready to be collected somewhere in August. Lebih kurang 3 bulan dari sekarang.We opted for new ring yang fresh and purposely made for him...oh ya, the price sudah naik roughly rm200 from the date we both saw it at Mid Valley. No point of waiting, nanti price beza gedebuk 500 boleh nangis dibuatnya...

nanti, August kami datang balik. bring along my ring. untuk ukir something at the back of the ring. tak tau lagi nak tulis apa. mayb both of our name...that SA told me he will do for me..FOR FREE..so aku memang ingat sangatlah bab-bab free ni... jangan ingat aku lupe! for MF, he will do for free, of course...!! since MF bought my wedding ring @ habib. kami rasa bagus sangatlah kalau aku punya pun freeeee~

nanti nak suruh dia polish sekali lah, boleh?? hantar kasi wax!hahahah.

cerita lama

hari tu balik rumah, ingat nak ambil gambar merisik dulu dalam laptop ayah. gambar dah dipindah dalam external hardisk.sedeh, sebab sudah corrupt. tak tau ayah masih simpan lagi tak gambar merisik dalam laptop dia. gambar konvo haritu pun tak tau ade lagi tak...menyesal tak ambil awal-awal and bagi MF.kalau tak mungkin MF ada gambar tu sekarang.walaupun tak banyak,at least ada.

dah 7 bulan merisik, tapi masih belum ada apa-apa progress. haritu dua-dua pihak dah setuju kami akan bertunang and berkahwin pada hari yang sama. sebab parents & nenek aku tamo aku kahwin sama tahun dengan angah. jadi memang sampai 2 tahunlah aku dalam status merisik kat ticker tu nanti.hehehe.

dulu kami plan nak kahwin June 2010, tapi wedding angah ditangguh ke 2010. so kami postponed to 2011. jadi sekarang memang agak bosanlah sebab tak bole buat apa-apa persiapan lagi, sebab terlalu awal. and sebab malas pun ye jugak.hehehe.

tak sabar nak masuk 2010, bila dah 2010 cepat je dah 2011..yeaayyy.hehehe...excited terlebih.

but, its too cute. rasa macam nak paksa MF pilih yang ni untuk deco hantaran aku nanti. tapi macam kesian pulak, nampak cute sangat untuk datang dari pihak lelaki. mayb aku jelah yang kasi dekat dia. hehe

we will only going to start hunting for hantaran thingy Februari next year. MF cakap tahun baru cina banyak design baru keluar and price pun menarik...tak sabar youuuu~

hari tu dah pilih design wedding band utk MF dekat GoldHeart. Nanti dah confirm nak beli will come back and tempah 2 month earlier, so cincin tu fresh lagi dari kilang.hehehe. Credit to my friend, Huda sebab bagitau GoldHeart produce Platim ; a mixture of platinum and sterling silver. Platim ni still affordable la, compared to Platinum diamond ring kan, and menurut salesperson tu Platim takkan terhakis or etc macam yang kita biasa tengok pada cincin silver.

Mayb you can have this as an alternative for cincin suasa, white gold, or platinum band.

Know the 4 c's of diamonds before you buy

Anyone shopping for a diamond engagement ring should first acquaint themselves with "the four Cs" - color, cut, clarity, and caret. Some also include the fifth c, cost.

Color: With the exception of "fancy colored diamonds", the more colorless a diamond is, the more valuable it is. Jewelers grade diamonds on a scale from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow). Anything more yellow than D is considered fancy and is much more expensive.

Cut: Many people make the mistake of thinking that cut means the shape of the diamond. Rather, it means the way the diamond was faceted to allow light to reflect from it. In a well cut diamond, light enters the diamond and reflects straight back to the viewer's eye. Some cutters will sacrifice cut to create the largest possible diamond, thus making too shallow or too deep of a cut and causing light to "leak" out the sides and bottom of the diamond.

Cut can be something very difficult for a layperson to evaluate, which is why it is important to get an AGS Certificate or a GIA Certificate verifying the quality of your diamond. Cut is graded Ideal, Premium, Very Good, Good, Fair, and Poor. Generally you should seek an Ideal to Very Good Diamond. Budget-conscious shoppers may opt for good.

Clarity: Diamonds frequently have inclusions, or small flaws, air bubbles, scratches, or other minerals inside the diamond. The less inclusions a diamond has, the more valuable it is, and the more beautiful it is.
The scale for grading diamond's clarity is:

• F Flawless - no internal or external inclusions.
  
  
• IF Internally Flawless - no internal inclusions, slight external inclusions.
  
  
• VVS1-VVS2Very Very Slightly Included - minute inclusions that are very difficult to detect under 10x magnification, even by an experienced grader.
  
  
• VS1-VS2 Very Slightly Included - minute inclusions that are invisible to the naked eye and seen only with difficulty under 10x magnification.
  
  
• SI1-SI2 Slightly Included - invisible to the naked eye, yet easily seen by an experienced grader under 10x magnification.
  
  
• I1-I3 Included - inclusions are visible to the naked eye and affect brilliance.

Stones that are VVS2 to F are very rare and thus very expensive. Most couples will opt for something between SI2 and VS1, and will never know the difference.

Caret:This refers to the size of the stone. While some value caret above all, others prefer a small ring regardless of budget. If you're buying a ring as a surprise for someone, consider how flashy their other jewelry is. If they're not someone who wears a lot of designer labels or big jewelry, perhaps you'll want to opt for a smaller stone. This site has a very useful chart to see how the most common sizes look on a model's hand. Ideally, you'll be able to try on a variety of sizes within your budget to see which size looks best on you or your love.

Investment
While jewelers love to tell you that a diamond ring is a great investment, that's not necessarily true. Diamond's may or may not increase in value, but "antique" rings rarely cost as much as new ones do, because of wear and tear. Instead of looking at rings for their investment value, buy ones that symbolize your love, and that you'll want to wear for the rest of your lives.

Before you buy a diamond ring
Before you buy, ask the retailer to provide you with an AGS Certificate or a GIA Certificate. You'll also want them to verify that the stone(s) is not a conflict diamond.
